![]() Serious Sam 2 somehow manages to break the most important rule of game in the unmitigated pure shooter genre. The game's engine combines support for a high model count on screen at any given time with a long draw distance. Weapons include a revolver, shotgun, circular saw, plasma gun, sniper rifle, Uzi, rocket launcher grenade launcher, mini gun, canon and a serious bomb. Sometimes a dinosaur, various vehicles (including a flying saucer) and static guns can be mounted to lay waste to Mentals hordes. That duly came as Kane showed his masterful finishing ability in tucking the ball in after Alphonso Davies found him on a fluid break. Sane rattled a post with a sweeping drive as the hosts hunted a third. Sane couldn't meet the ball with the goal gaping following some Coman trickery before Serge Gnabry glanced a header that only a leaping Dahmen save could keep out. Augsburg showed they weren't out of it entirely with Ruben Vargas having an opportunity from distance saved by Sven Ulreich. Kane had an opportunity to strike again early in the second half, twisting and firing off-target after Kingsley Coman slipped the ball through to him. The memorable moment for the star signing gave Bayern a somewhat flattering two-goal lead to take into the break. Soon afterwards, a Joshua Kimmich strike was handled by Niklas Dorsch and a spot kick was awarded, allowing Kane to convert cooly down the middle for his first goal in front of the Bayern faithful at the Allianz Arena. I was using TDDP's Bind Pictures to Map plugin, which seems to magnify the memory leak problem to unacceptable and nearly unplayable levels. There is, in fact, an issue where images are kept and never disposed of in MV, meaning that as the player goes through maps with big images (such is the case with parallax mapping), the RAM usage will creep up, up, up, until the game client is reloaded, which would force the images to be disposed.
